PLAYER [N]ONE: A ZINE FOR GAMES THAT DON'T EXIST is a small project to produce a fake game magazine full of made up games and original art
Now working on: Interest Check
What is a zine? A zine, short for "magazine," is a home-made/fan-made collection of digital or paper media following a theme. Zines come in many forms.
Is fanwork allowed? We want to focus on original game concepts, art and characters. You are free to take inspiration from existing media but the work must be yours from conception to finish.
Can I include in-development projects? Yes.
Can I include finished projects? No. The idea is that at the time of release, these games "don't exist" (yet).
If this becomes a charity project, what charity would you fund? We'll be prioritizing production costs first, but if we happen to have any money left over it will be donated to Doctors Without Borders.
How will contributors be compensated? Contributors will receive a free physical copy of the zine. This may change later, but that will be the minimum compensation.
Can I apply for multiple roles? Yes, though you may only be accepted into one.
My question's not here! Feel free to reach out to us personally for further details.
This is a tentative schedule and may change according to the interest check & the contributors!
